In another context, Ali Akbar Velayati, the foreign policy adviser to Iran's supreme leader Ali Khamenei, stated that Iran would resist any condition that results from the USA withdrawal from the nuclear deal.

Under the pact, sanctions were eased in return for a commitment from Iran not to pursue a nuclear bomb, but Iran says it is not reaping the rewards despite complying with the deal.

Speaking to worldwide reporters on Sunday, Netanyahu pushed back against critics who said a trove of pilfered Iranian documents he revealed last week had showed nothing new.

"It's not a ideal deal, no deal is ever flawless, and the president is rightly concerned about Iran's regional activities, which are malign and damaging to security and stability", Darroch said.

President Hassan Rouhani made the comments Sunday in the city of Sabzevar while on a tour of Iran's Razavi Khorasan province.

"If the United States leaves the nuclear agreement, you will soon see that they will regret it like never before in history", Rouhani said in a televised speech from northwestern Iran. The treaty does not prohibit the testing of ballistic missiles, which Iran has continued to do.

Speaking in Tehran after attending a Parliament session on Sunday, Mohammad Javad Zarif said during his recent trip to NY, he had talked with people who are now not part of the United States administration but were present during the previous nuclear negotiations including decision makers as well as political elites to transfer the realities about the JCPOA to them.

What is Mueller's latest move? But after the raid on Cohen's office, Trump's enthusiasm in directly talking to Mueller waned. In a statement, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Cobb was retiring without offering a reason.

He also spoke with members of the US Congress, including House Speaker Paul Ryan, several times.

The sentiment was echoed by French President Emmanuel Macron who said in April during the state visit to the US that he hopes Trump won't pull out from the agreement. Netanyahu stated the "half a whole lot" of files were transferred to some "very secret" place from the capital of Iran.

Britain's ambassador to the USA said Sunday that his country believes it's still possible to address Trump's concerns in time to prevent him from pulling out of the agreement. 'Indeed at this moment Britain is working alongside the Trump administration and our French and German allies to ensure that they are'.

"In effect, I don't know what Trump will decide because he hasn't told me", the official said on condition of anonymity, making clear Israel had not yet been told of Trump's decision. What happens next if the US pulls out? Walking away, he added, could have hard-to-predict consequences.

The possibility of the nuclear deal collapsing has raised concerns it might embolden Iran to strike Israeli targets. The Trump administration also has criticized Iran for its support of militant groups such as Hezbollah and Hamas, arguing that the country is destabilizing the region.

Netanyahu told his Cabinet earlier Sunday that Iran has delivered advanced weapons to Syria "in order to attack us both on the battlefield and on the homefront".
