Chatham County polling places will be open from 6:30 am to 7:30 pm.

While Ohio state law does not require a photo ID, all voters must bring some form of acceptable identification to the polls in order to verify their identity.

It is important to note that with the new Supreme Court congressional maps, some districts have changed for areas in Cumberland County.

"If you have a legal reason to vote absentee, you need to go to your circuit clerk's office in your county and vote now", Lauderdale County Circuit Clerk Donna Jill Johnson says.

The Registrar of Voters would like to remind vote-by-mail voters to apply the proper postage to their vote-by-mail ballots prior to mailing them.

The Code of Iowa provides that persons who are admitted to a health care facility within three days of an election; Saturday, Sunday, Monday (and Election Day) may make a request by telephone to the Election Office and an absentee ballot will be delivered to them. Overall turnout in that 2014 election was 10.2 percent.

Hendricks County Democratic Chairman Charlotte Martin said, "I visited 15 vote centers today and from all the results that I hear from people who voted, the ease of voting using the new poll machines for check in and having more machines to vote - it sounded like it worked really well".

Mr. Feldstein said he was keeping a close eye on the Governor's race. This is the first primary election in which Voter ID requirements are included on absentee ballots.

County elections officials began mailing ballots to military and overseas voters on April 6, 2018. Tuesday is also the deadline to register to vote.

And right now, if Tuesday night's primary results are any indication, Democrats appear to be in better shape structurally than the GOP.

In the 88th Legislative District, Democrat Jean Foschi is running unopposed in the primary, with Republican Sheryl M. Delozier running unopposed for the seat.

"I should have been able to vote on all the issues of my community without declaring her allegiance to one specific party".
