After Several Future Titles Release, Bethesda May Have Confirmed RAGE 2

Rage 2 is real and it's bringing unhinged violence and anarchy to a game system near you.

Whilst Bethesda's witty response to Walmart Canada's Rage 2 listing served to offer plenty of laughs for its audience on social media, the publisher didn't exactly deny the leak or the game's existence either. It was a post-apocalyptic first-person shooter with similar traits to Fallout, Borderlands, and Mad Max.

Rage might be getting a sequel.

The outstanding question is whether Avalanche simply lent assistance to Bethesda, or took the lead in Rage 2's development.

We still don't know what these tweets are for and what do they mean. Now a trailer showing off what you can expect is now public thanks to pre-roll ads on YouTube before an official reveal from Bethesda that's slated for May 14.

Rage is an action-adventure, open world game developed by id Software, the developer behind Doom, Wolfenstein, Quake, and more.

The trailer ends by announcing that a "worldwide gameplay reveal" will debut tomorrow. And one of the games which appeared on this list was Rage 2.

Earlier this week a listing on Walmart's website accidentally "leaked" a number of video games which are supposedly to be announced at E3 2018.

Since then Bethesda has been teasing fans about Rage 2, with the publisher's official Twitter account hinting an announcement was for today. Otherwise, we can always count on a few more leaks, so stay tuned! The original Rage did have some co-operative and online elements but we wouldn't have liked to have played an entire game with just those. We'll be back tomorrow with new details on the sequel 8 years in the making.

The above Rage 2 trailer moves pretty quickly, cutting between scenes.
