Father Allegedly Abused And Tortured His 10 Kids In Filthy California Home

More than a month after a California mother was arrested for allegedly torturing and abusing her 10 children in Fairfield, the local police in a statement said the kids were living in "squalor and unsafe conditions".

Police said earlier Monday that the 10 children had been removed from the home March 31 after Rogers reported her oldest child was missing.

Fairfield police located the boy asleep under a bush and returned him to the family home in the 2200 block of Fieldstone Court. Once at the home the officers conducted a search due to concerns for the safety and health of the child and the child's siblings. During the search, the officers also discovered nine more children, between the ages of 4 months to 11 years.

Neighbour Larry Magnaye said he had no idea there were 10 children living in the house across the street.

The 10 children were placed in protective custody by Solano County Child Welfare services before being put into the care of family relatives.

According to ABC News, Rogers said she was first pregnant at 16-years-old and has since had 11 children, eight of whom are with Allen.

One of the rescued kids reportedly said that they endured puncture wounds, burns, bruising and injuries consistent with being shot with a BB or airsoft gun.

Police said an investigation into the family revealed a 'long and continuous history of severe physical and emotional abuse of the children'.

Nawaz Sharif confirms Pakistani militants carried out 26/11 Mumbai attacks
Union Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi told ANI, "Pakistan is exclusively responsible for 26/11 terrorist attack". The lone survivor, Ajmal Amir Kasab, was caught and was sentenced to death at Yerwada Central Jail in Pune in 2012.

Upon witnessing the appalling conditions, Rogers was arrested for child neglect.

The mother accused of abusing her 10 children as they lived in squalor in Fairfield is keeping quiet on Tuesday.

Rogers, in an interview with an area TV station, denied the allegations against her and said she would never allow in her home the kind of abuse law enforcement claims took place.

"I strive and I pride myself on being a good parent to my children", Rogers told CNN affiliate KGO/KTXL. According to Rogers, the children are now staying with family members. "So, I've had many people question my right to parent and I just feel like this whole situation was exploded". "He looks like a scary individual and that's why people are so quick to judge him". She felt she was being judged for having so many children and having chosen to home-school them.

Meanwhile, father Jonathan Allen, 29, is being held on $5.2 million bail after being charged with nine counts of felony torture and six counts of felony child abuse.

According to Associated Press, the mother stated that the house was in that condition because she tore it apart while looking for her missing son, who was, according to her, angry because his tablet computer was taken away. "But absolutely not. My husband is an awesome person".

She said: There's no broken bones, there is no major scars, nothing. "Once that fear sets in, you don't know what to do so in that moment", she said.
