She's facing two counts of aggravated assault on a police officer disorderly conduct and resisting arrest and other charges according to Wildwood police

Police have released body cam video of the arrest of a Philadelphia woman on a New Jersey beach that appears to show the woman spit at an officer.

The video shows one officer in Wildwood repeatedly punch Emily Weinman, 20, in the head, as another officer holds her down. In fact, at the 5:20 mark of this video you'll hear the officer with the body cam describe the incident to his superior and never once mention that she shoved him in the chest. The first video shows police asking Weinman to blow into a breathalyzer, and asking if she's underage.

In the footage, Ms Weinman takes a breath test and claims that she hadn't consumed any alcohol.

She is facing two counts of aggravated assault on a police officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

The officers involved were put on "administrative duty". "Look I don't care who you are and what you are, the worst people [to try to subdue] are women". There are three separate videos of the incident because the camera had been "turned on and off" during the encounter, according to a press release. As an officer places handcuffs on her, she can be seen in the video spitting at him.

Newly-released body camera footage shows the moments leading up to a violent arrest on a New Jersey beach. The alcohol belonged to her aunt, Weinman explained sternly but calmly, and she was on her way back.

"Did she deserve to get hit?"

She is seen walking away from the officer when he asked for her last name. She tells police that beverages near her are unopened but an officer replies that it constitutes "open display on the beach". "Again, until I interview the officer, I won't have that answer if that's what he was trying to do".

Now that seen the footage has been released, the attorney for Emily Weinman says it's clear the officers used excessive force, while the mayor of Wildwood believes his officers acted appropriately in what became an intense situation. Weinman screams more and tells him: "You're not allowed to hit me like that and choke me". In another clip, the exchange seems to escalate when Weinman refused to provide her name to officers. "I didn't do anything wrong". "She tried to tell us it was okay for her to possess alcohol and that doesn't make any sense". "Alright, you're about to get dropped", he tells her.

"She assaults them, she spits at them, she kicks them".

"You have a young lady who was out of control". "They didn't find that she had done anything wrong", Dicht said.
