Warriors forward Kevin Durant hit the same shot from nearly the same spot in Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

No, none of that was the lasting image of Kevin Durant that became a permanent tattoo on Game 3, maybe even this championship series. He took control of the moment for the second straight season and pushed the Cavaliers one step closer to the brink of elimination and an uncomfortable offseason. On a night when Curry and Klay Thompson combined to shoot 7-of-27, Durant kept the Warriors in the game. He was 2-2 in four trips to the NBA Finals with Miami.

All of those reactions - more or less - signaled the end of a series.

The Cleveland Cavaliers hope to avoid the sweep as they battle the Golden State Warriors in Game 4 of the NBA Finals at the Quicken Loans Arena on Friday.

Kevin Durant very almost duplicated his clutch Game 3 trey from a year ago.

If James wins, good luck trying to hand over the trophy, Durant said. "I just internalize it a little bit as I get older a little bit more than I did as a younger player". I've seen some insane stuff happen in my years playing basketball, so anything can happen. "He's one of the best players that I've ever played against, that this league has ever seen". He outscored the other four starters combined.

Microsoft's $7.5 billion purchase of GitHub will provoke a developer backlash
GitHub is described as the world's leading software development platform, and it now served over 28 million developers worldwide. Microsoft said the GitHub acquisition is expected to have a negative impact on 2019 earnings but positive beginning in 2020.

James was fantastic, again: 33 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists.

James, who can be a free agent in July, stopped just short of saying the Cavaliers don't have enough to beat these Warriors.

While LeBron James and company have put up an honorable fight through three games, the Warriors' talent level has simply proven too high for a Cavs team that is in noticeable need of additional high-level playmakers.

Kevin Durant carried the load for the Warriors throughout Game 3. Because, this is what he's up against. "Every journey is a new one each season".

"Kevin was the story in the first half, just keeping us in it", Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. "Going to White House was a great honor until you showed up!" He continued, "You know, it's a lot of things that we believe in as Americans that we don't feel you know, that he's for. It's pretty nice, a pretty nice luxury".

Game 3 went down as a loss, and now the Cavaliers find themselves in the hole from which no National Basketball Association team has ever escaped.
