AT&T's latest unlimited plans include a new live TV service

The platform, which offers more than 30 livestreaming TV channels, will be included with a pair of unlimited plans set to roll out next week.

When it purchased Time Warner, now called WarnerMedia, AT&T said it would work quickly to launch new services that take advantage of its new access to content, including movies from Warner Bros. and New Line film studios and programming from premium networks HBO and Cinemax; Turner cable channels such as CNN and TBS; and DC Entertainment properties such as DC Comics. AT&T completed its acquisition of Time Warner earlier this year.

The WatchTV service, a cable-like package of more than 30 TV channels delivered over the internet, is an example of new "skinny bundles" coming from telecom and broadband providers as more people watch TV online.

AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson let fly details about the company's new streaming service, WatchTV, during testimony in the AT&T-Time Warner merger antitrust trial in April.

AT&T also said it will offer Watch TV as a standalone streaming offering for $15 month soon after the service launches.

Both of AT&T's new plans will be available starting next week. Customers will also be able to add one premium channel to their lineup for free, including HBO, Showtime, Amazon Music Unlimited, Pandora Premium, and other options.

The gunman then attempted to carjack another vehicle and shot the driver, Wohl and witnesses said. She said police "definitely" believe the interweaving incidents are connected.

The new plans also introduce a new entry-level price.

Pricing for the AT&T Unlimited &More Premium service starts at $80 a month for a single phone line. Verizon vz last week added a third tier to its unlimited plan line up. It's not clear if that would replace the free HBO "for life" that AT&T was running on their old plans, but I'm sure that will be clarified soon.

Channels that AT&T (T) doesn't own, like BBC World News and Food Network, are on the service, too.

AT&T's new plans replace its previous plans, though customers can remain on the plan they now have.

AT&T says its new plans will be the first of new offers that leverage its new entertainment holdings.

Subscribers to the new AT&T unlimited data plans also get a $15 monthly credit on AT&T's other pay TV services-DirecTV satellite, U-verse and virtual MVPD DirecTV Now.
