South American side Colombia can qualify with a draw, but only if Japan lose to Poland.

Group H was won by Colombia, whilst Japan progress despite losing 1-0 to bottom of the table Poland.

All eyes will now be on the other group match between Poland and Colombia - defeat for either side will be the end of their tournament in Russian Federation.

Colombia, who overcame the premature exit of injured James Rodriguez, will now play Group G's second-placed side - either England or Belgium - in Moscow on Tuesday, with Japan facing the winners of that group in Rostov-on-Don a day earlier.

Despite following a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Japan with a decisive 3-0 win over Poland, Colombia need to beat the on-form Africans in Samara if they are to avoid what would be seen as an embarrassing exit. However, after consultation with the video assistant referee (VAR), Colombian defender Davinson Sanchez was deemed to have touched the ball and the decision was reversed.

Colombia were struggling to gain a foothold and they were dealt a blow after half an hour.

Belgium unchanged for Tunisia clash at World Cup
Tunisia captain Khazri grabbed their second goal just before the final whistle of their second defeat in Russian Federation . That goal served to halt Belgium's early dominance, but they did grab a third with nearly the last kick of the half.

Substitute Keisuke Honda equalised with 12 minutes left as Japan twice pegged back Senegal in a captivating stalemate at Yekaterinburg Arena that leaves Group H wide open.

Mane's slip as he took a free-kick in the 64th minute, the Liverpool forward sending the ball wildly off-target, summed up the lack of quality in the match.

Colombia might control the run of play and create more chances, but Senegal will be unsafe on the counter-attack.

Mina rose highest in the box to power home his header pass Ndiaye in goal for Senegal.

And in the 74th minute Colombia scored the decisive goal of the game, Juan Quintero's cross flawless for Barcelona defender Mina to rise highest and crash home a stunning header that went through goalkeeper Khadim N'Diaye.

The fair play ranking is being used as a tiebreaker for the first time at a World Cup.
