National Security Adviser John Bolton said President Trump will discuss a "full range of issues" with Russian Federation leader Vladimir Putin at their upcoming summit, including Moscow's meddling in the 2016 presidential election.

Donald Trump will probably want to have a "conversation" about election-meddling during his meeting with Vladimir Putin, despite the Russian president's repeated assurances that the Kremlin did not interfere in the 2016 race.

The Republican president said he would raise the issue of election meddling with Putin as well as Russia's role in Syria and Ukraine. Trump will also speak with Putin about Russia's election meddling.

'We don't want anybody tampering with elections, ' he said.

Bolton said Trump often uses "we'll see" to show "that he's willing to talk to foreign leaders about a range of issues and hear their perspective".

The presidium of the Russian President's Council for Countering Corruption shall form a working group to monitor the implementation of measures stipulated by the anti-corruption program and examine the working group's report on an annual basis, the decree said.

The US intelligence community believes that the Russian government was engaged in electoral interference during the 2016 US presidential elections.

The summit could irritate U.S. allies, such as the United Kingdom, who want to isolate Putin, or countries such as Ukraine who are nervous about what they see as Trump's overly friendly attitude toward the Russian leader.

Hazard also scored twice, and Michy Batshuayi added a 90th-minute goal after failing to convert a trio of prime chances. Both sides have six points from two wins, and both sides have scored eight goals and conceded two.

"The main rationale to have a bilateral meeting between Trump and Putin: let them discuss these issues and see exactly where there might be room for progress, or where they might find there's no room at all", Bolton said.

Perhaps a key detail Bolton has chose to share with the public is the fact that he and Putin have discussed Russian election meddling.

"That's not the position of the United States", Bolton said. Last week, he tweeted that "Russia continues to say they had nothing to do with meddling in our election", while at the same time attacking the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The president has called Mueller's probe a "witch hunt". Trump tweeted last week.

"So I'm glad the president is going to confront Putin". Asked about potentially lifting sanctions on Russia, Trump told reporters, "We'll see what Russia does".

Russian Federation denies any interference in the 2016 elections, though USA intelligence agencies have concluded otherwise.

"No, that's not the position of the United States" Bolton said.

Asked about lifting of sanctions on Russia, Mr Trump appeared to be non-committal.
