Chelsea have reportedly identified Arsenal star Petr Cech as a potential summer target as they prepare for the departure of Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid.

It's been reported by Kaveh Solhekol from Sky Sports that the FA Cup winners are considering signing Cech for a second time.

"There was interest from Napoli, it's true, but my future is at Arsenal", Cech said.

Despite being again linked with a move to Real Madrid, Courtois has recently stated he may choose to see out the final year of his contract at Stamford Bridge.

This looks to be a massive boost to Chelsea and Maurizio Sarri's plans.

He has turned the page on last October's horror show, ensuring Harry Kane did not find the scoresheet. Vukojević was sacked from his role with the national team.

Rumours have gathered pace his Courtois' heroics in Russian Federation during the FIFA World Cup and Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws has reported Real have already offered €55m (£48.5m) for the stopper.

"In this World Cup, I have ignored all the speculation, all the rumours".

"After six wonderful years at Chelsea it might be time to discover something different", he told reporters after Belgium achieved their best World Cup finish. But I feel happy at Chelsea, it's not that I necessarily want to leave.

Argentine sports channel TYC claim the Blues, Tottenham and Everton are all interested in the 24-year-old Colombia worldwide.

First on Chelsea's wish list to replace Courtois would be Roma and Brazil keeper Allison, but reports suggest Liverpool are making another strong run at him, tempting Roma with a fee that would top what Manchester City paid for Ederson.

CSKA Moscow's Russian Federation midfielder Aleksandr Golovin continues to be linked with a move to Chelsea.
