Who Is America Jason Spencer Resigns

State Rep. Jason Spencer (R-Woodbine) - who faced intense pressure to step down after the embarrassing appearance on Showtime's "Who is America?" - has chose to step down, according to The Atlanta Journal Constitution.

In May, Spencer was defeated in the Georgia primary by a 24-year-old politican newcomer, so he was due to step down from office in January anyway. "Representative Spencer has disgraced himself and should resign immediately", Ralston said in his statement.

According to CNN, he has also written to David Ralston, the House Speaker of the Georgia House of Representatives, to let him know that he was resigning from office, effective July 31.

Spencer told Cohen's character, "I don't call it a burqa ban, I call it an anti-masking statute". Georgia lawmaker Jason Spencer is stepping down after showing his bare ass and yelling the n-word on Cohen's show. In the short segment, Spencer screams the N-word (with the hard "r") repeatedly, mocks Asian culture with an offensive accent and mannerisms, and tries to scare a supposed terrorist by exposing his buttocks.

He added, "I deeply regret the language I used at his request as well as my participation in the "class" in general". Nathan Deal said in a tweet: "There is no excuse for this type of behavior, ever, and I am saddened and disgusted by it".

He tweeted: "I had a GREAT meeting with Putin and the Fake News used every bit of their energy to try and disparage it". House committee staffer Kyle Parker helped draft sanctions against Russians suspected of human rights violations.

If you haven't watched Spencer's appearance on Who Is America? "Do not worry Jason Shpenker, Erran Morad have got your backside".

Following the video's release, Spencer issued a statement that the British comedian "fraudulently induced me in participating in bogus self-defense and anti-terrorism training".

In a final show-stopping demonstration titled "Using your buttocks to intimidate ISIS", he pulled down his trousers and attempted to touch his bottom on Baron Cohen, who was standing behind him holding a boxing pad.

Spencer told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution the show "exploited" his state of mind "for profit and notoriety".
