Chelsea are in talks to sign Matias Vecino

Higuain has played under the Chelsea manager at Napoli in 2015-16, where he scored record 36 goals in Serie A.

He arrived in Milan on Wednesday and had a medical on Thursday before the deal was announced.

CHELSEA are being linked with a move for Gonzalo Higuain - but how could the Juventus star fit in at Stamford Bridge?

Chelsea have made a late attempt to sign Juventus defender Mattia Caldara, who is reportedly close to sealing a move to AC Milan.

Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain has chosen to join AC Milan on a season-long loan deal, with an option to buy next summer for £32m.

But the big news is that Gonzola Higuain will be a Milan player next season, whilst Juve will get a club legend in Leonardo Bonucci back.

No policy changes came out of the summit, Mattis said on Friday, adding he had also not been given new direction on Syria. A U.S. special counsel is now investigating whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russian spies to manipulate the vote.

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has hinted striker Alvaro Morata could be on his way out this summer.

He had a subdued World Cup where he started one game, appeared as a substitute in two more and failed to score a goal. He was left on the bench for the second round match against France as Argentina lost 4-3 and were knocked out.

However, with the two clubs unable to reach an agreement for the 24-year old, Chelsea have chose to switch their attention towards Rugani's Juventus teammate instead.

A Juventus statement said: "After spending seven wonderful years in black and white, Leonardo Bonucci has returned to the club following a season at AC Milan".

"Not at this moment, no, because I will see them on Saturday for the first time", said Sarri.

The 24-year-old is an extremely capable defender - excellent in the air, quick and powerful - and will suit the younger Milan team as they continue rebuilding.
