Michelle Zuelke from Outlets at the Dells shares new back to school styles and deals to catch during the tax free holiday.

The tax holiday will last until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 5. The weekend offers tax exemptions for clothing, accessories, handbags, shoes, bath towels, blankets, bedspreads, school supplies, book-bags, and computers.

As a new school year nears, three of the four-states will be participating in tax-free weekend this weekend. The local tax break on the Second Amendment Holiday will remain in place. The move is expected to cost the state almost $15 million in lost revenue.

An important distinction is that sports and recreational equipment is not considered clothing, and is not tax exempt during this weekend.
