Melania Praises LeBron James After Donald’s Racist Tweet

"He's doing an awesome job for his community", Jordan, now owner of the National Basketball Association's Charlotte Hornets, told NBC News through a spokesperson.

Word of the possible visit by Trump to the I Promise School that James opened this week in his home town of Akron came hours after President Donald Trump tweeted about an interview James did on CNN.

Add First Lady Melania Trump to the list of people showing support for LeBron James after President Donald Trump questioned the four-time MVP's intelligence in a tweet.

While unclear, it is likely Trump's final line is referring to Jordan, who is commonly compared to James as one of the greatest basketball players ever.

The interview caught Trump's attention, who was apparently watching CNN at 11 p.m. on a Friday night, and launched this missive at the star athlete - which is earning the president harsh rebukes.

Saturday morning, James tweeted pictures of students from his school.

First lady Melania Trump is "open" to visiting LeBron James's school for at-risk kids. I like Mike!' Trump posted on Friday evening, appearing to reference Michael Jordan. The I Promise School opened its doors Monday in Akron, Ohio ― LeBron's hometown ― and has won praise from advocates for public education like Diane Ravitch.

Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh gets major boost with Rand Paul backing
Trump nominated Kavanaugh to the high court earlier this month, after Justice Anthony Kennedy announced his retirement . Manchin was one of three Democrats who voted to confirm Trump's first supreme court pick, Neil Gorsuch.

The last three words were an obvious innuendo for the constant debate about LeBron James catching up or not with Michael Jordan's legacy.

He suggested that since James no longer resides or represents a swing state in OH and has moved to the state of California which is essentially a lost cause, Trump can say what he feels.

During the said interview, LeBron did say his opinion on Trump, and it looks like the leader of the free world didn't like that.

James himself has not responded to Trump.

James said he "can't sit back and say nothing".

"Going to White House was a great honour until you showed up!" However, he's keeping busy with much more important things than petty Twitter wars. In 2013, Trump tweeted that he thought James was a "great player and a great guy", and sent another congratulating the National Basketball Association star on winning at the ESPYS.
