The Carolina Panthers are kicking off their preseason with a visit to the Buffalo Bills, a game that reunited Benjamin, the former Panthers receiver now playing in Buffalo, with his old quarterback in Newton. Benjamin answered questions about the exchange by saying he was "moving on", although when asked what Newton said to him, Benjamin responded, "I don't know".

Cam Newton and Kelvin Benjamin addressed their feud in what seems to be the most awkward manner possible.

Benjamin was a first-round pick by the Panthers in 2014 and played in 40 career games with them, catching 184 passes for 2,424 yards and 19 touchdowns. It just felt like I wasn't in that position. Benjamin has grown cold in Buffalo.

China's July exports rise more than expected despite USA tariffs
For instance, the major complaint is about the theft of United States intellectual property by Chinese firms. That was off slightly from June's 13.6% rate but still stronger than China's global export growth.

Initially, Newton's only response, posted in a video to social media, was to say that he wasn't "gonna go back and forth with him" but continue to "work". The beef stems from this quote from Benjamin speaking to The Athletic on his time in Carolina.

According to The Charlotte Observer's Jourdan Rodrigue, there was no smiling involved and Benjamin "shrugged [Newton] off mid-sentence" and started to walk away. Newton apparently wanted to discuss. Benjamin didn't appear to want to have much of a conversation.

Newton later waved off Benjamin in apparent frustration before the two parted ways for the remainder of warmups.
