Chance the Rapper credited Miller with helping him early in his career and called him "one of the sweetest guys I ever knew".

Miller, a platinum-selling U.S. musician and the former partner of Grande, was found unresponsive at his home in Los Angeles on Friday morning after a reported overdose.

The sudden news of Mac Miller's death continues to affect fans and artists who loved the late Pittsburg star, who once bragged, "I'm still playing it out the same speakers/I did it all without a Drake feature", on his 2014 track "Here We Go". He was reportedly found unresponsive and was pronounced dead at the scene upon the arrival of emergency officials.

In footage shared by one of Miller's fans that emerged on Saturday, the rapper could be seen in good spirits the night before his death as he played the keyboard while streaming live on Instagram to the delight of his followers. Neither side revealed his cause of death, but the celebrity news site TMZ, which first reported the death, cited unnamed sources as saying he had overdosed on drugs.

The steamy music video ended with them kissing, but at the time both she and Mac denied any claims of romance blossoming. "Of course I didn't share how hard or scary it was while it was happening but it was". Records, Miller's label, said in a statement.

Miller famously helped Ariana overcome her grief after a terrorist attack at her Manchester concert in May previous year.

Hurricane warning issued for South MS
Dominic Carlucci drove back to his home on the barrier island in his Hummer, and found no damage, just a sagging wooden fence. In addition to Gordon, Tropical Storm Florence is hovering over the eastern Atlantic but is not expected to make landfall.

A devastated Ariana fled home to America and Mac was waiting for her when her private jet touched down.

Miller had a long history with substance abuse and spoke openly about his issues on multiple occasions.

He told Rolling Stone when the album came out: "Have I done drugs?"

Rapper Wiz Khalifa tweeted: "Praying for Mac's family and that he rest easy".

Miller was arrested on DUI and hit-and-run charges in Los Angeles in May.

A post-mortem will now be carried out to try and establish how Mac died, a coroner said.
