Samsung has announced a surprise event for October 11, where the company will announce a new device in its Galaxy range.

South Korean consumer electronics giant Samsung is all set to launch a new Galaxy device. The phone was already launched earlier this year as Galaxy A8 star but the company made a decision to relaunch it as Galaxy A9 star with a new and unique color design in China. It is expected that the company might launch the Samsung Galaxy A (2018) edition with a triple camera setup and one of the camera at the back is said to have a 32MP sensor.

Shortly after the releasing of the Note 9, Samsung is now seeding the Galaxy Note 8 with an update that adds a couple of significant features that previously debuted with the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus.

Samsung will be hosting an event next Thursday to officially launch the "next Galaxy smartphone". This idea seems a little more unlikely as one would imagine Samsung offering 4x zoom for a flagship device rather than a mid-range or low-end phone. Samsung only just debuted its first dual-camera Galaxy handset with last year's Note 8, while Apple and others have been selling dual-camera phones for years.

And now, it's holding another event next month. Samsung, however, stopped short of revealing what device it will announce next month.

Amazon is now discounting the Samsung DeX Pad to just $67.80, which is a pretty good price for this pad, seeing as this is typically priced at $99 and was only announced earlier this year. It adheres to the style language of the Galaxy Note 8 with the fingerprint scanner relocated listed below the cams for far better reachability. In particular, the invitation carries the tagline "4x Fun", which could mean the upcoming device will boast four cameras.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has a larger 6.4inch (16cm) screen, heftier 4000mAh battery, and a 1TB of storage option.
