On July 13, US Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein announced charges against another 12 individuals who were said to be Russian intelligence officers. He also said China agrees with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un's view that denuclearization of the Korean peninsula should be done "step by step in a coordinated fashion".

Earlier this week, Trump a Washington meeting between the two leaders until next year, citing political fallout over Special Counsel Robert Mueller's ongoing and still fruitless "Russiagate" investigation. Trump said. He added, "And I think, frankly, China is a bigger problem".
