Tekashi 6ix9ine was arrested on federal crime charges in the evening of Sunday, November 18, TMZ reports.

Whilst naming Tekashi 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, the leaked documents reveal the charges for which the multiple people including Tekashi's former manager were arrested.

The rapper has publicly identified himself as a member of a violent NY gang, 9 Trey Bloods, which was mentioned throughout the indictment.

All the charges were serious and carry big prison sentences, with racketeering conspiracy (20 years), using/carrying a firearm during a crime of violence (Life in prison) and violent crime in aid of racketeering (20 years) suggesting that Tekashi 6ix9ine could face multipple years behind bars if convincted. As well as Tekashi, the rapper's ex-manager Kifano Jordan (aka Shotti) has also been charged. News, Tekashi, Shottie, Crippy, Ish and others were part of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods gang (also known as "Enterprise" and "Nine Trey"), which "committed and agreed, attempted, and threatened to commit acts of violence to protect and expand their narcotics business". Prosecutors claim that members of Nine Trey sold heroin, fentanyl, MDMA, and weed in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Bronx.

Now Tekashi is facing a minimum of 32 years in prison if he gets convicted.

Nine Trey is said to be a criminal enterprise involved in committing numerous acts of violence, including shootings, robberies, and assaults in and around Manhattan and Brooklyn.

The roster probably includes some who fled the blaze and do not realize they've been reported missing, Sheriff Kory Honea said. More than a week later, firefighters have managed to carve containment lines around 55 percent of the blaze's perimeter.

6ix9ine is now facing 25 years to life in prison on six counts of the gang-related crimes. He was denied bail and will remain in custody pending trial. Their arrests were a joint operation by the ATF, NYPD and Homeland Security.

6ix9ine was detained without bail until a Tuesday bail hearing.

6ix9ine is not new to controversy in the hip-hop world.

"The defendant is quite violent", the prosecutor said of a man whose debut album, Day 69, was among the most downloaded records on iTunes.

But he's had several run-ins with law enforcement.

The 22-year-old recently pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct in Brooklyn Criminal Court in connection with a May traffic stop.
