Huawei Nova 4 with Punch Hole Selfie Camera Launch Set for December 17

Huawei Nova 4 with Punch Hole Selfie Camera Launch Set for December 17

The teaser shows a hole in the display towards the top left, similar to what Samsung had revealed at its developer conference last month. There's no information on the pricing and availability details for the Huawei Nova 4 just yet, so stay tuned for more updates.

Huawei today took to its official Weibo page to confirm not only the launch date, but also give us a better peek at the device, that will be its first with a punch-hole camera cutout. The poster also suggests that there will be very thin bezels, though the chin will be a little thicker than the rest of the sides, probably to accommodate to the antenna placement in the phone.

There's no doubt the Nova 4 is real.

Huawei, on the other hand, saw demand for its smartphones grow by 43 percent year-on-year. Huawei has already confirmed that it will have more news on December 3. The sole selfie camera here is expected to be coupled with a triple rear-camera setup as more sensors are now becoming the norm.

If one of the Nations League group winners have already secured a spot, the next-best team in that tier will make the playoffs. Croatia has been drawn in Group E alongside Wales , Slovakia, Hungary and Azerbaijan.

It remains to be seen when Samsung will release a phone of their own with this display type but this may spur them onto announcing it sooner.

The Huawei Nova 4 is expected to have a 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2340 pixels at a PPI of 403 pixels per inch. LG had patented a design with display holes as well, same goes for ZTE, though those two companies will take a somewhat different approach, it seems, as LG patented a dual display hole, while ZTE intends to include an earpiece in the display. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is priced at Rs. 69,990 and will be available exclusively on Amazon India from December 4.

Anyway, the U.S. government won't stop me from getting hyped for Nova 4, the same device we saw in a livestream from late November.
