Houston Grocery Stores Open on Christmas Eve and Day

And they will certainly not be the usual open hours with it being Christmas Day. They were there to guide shoppers through risky territory, because when you only have a few hours to get those things on your list, it can get tense.

Dollar General stores will all be open on Christmas Eve until 10 p.m. local time.

With only a few hours left until retailers close their doors, we talked to last-minute shoppers could out to find their final gifts.

Total Wine. Stores will close by 8 p.m. Christmas Eve and will remain closed Christmas Day.

Starbucks: Some Starbucks locations will be open for part of the day. Albertsons and Safeway will have holiday hours again, though these will be even more limited.

Dick's Sporting Goods will also be open on December 24, with locations open from 7 a.m.to 6 p.m.

On Christmas day, grocery shopping will be a bit tougher, but still not impossible.

CVS: Christmas hours are 8:00 am to 9:00 pm on Christmas Day, not including locations that are located inside of Target Stores.

Sheetz will be open 24/7, offering free coffee to customers on Christmas and New Year's Day.

Academy Sports + Outdoors, Best Buy, Dick's Sporting Goods, J.C. Penney and Walmart close at 6 p.m. All 24-hour stores will have those regular hours as well.

All Sainsbury's shops will then close on Christmas Day but many will then re-open on Boxing Day from 9am and then closing at 9pm. Contact your local store for specific times.

Phoenicia Specialty Foods (Downtown): Open on Christmas Eve. On Christmas Eve both malls will open until 6 p.m.

Fairview Mall: 8 a.m.to 9 p.m.
