With no separate light source, the displays are also extremely lightweight and thin, making them flexible enough to be rolled, as shown in the LG Signature OLED TV R (model 65R9).

The 65-inch OLED screen of the newly unveiled LG TV can roll into and unroll from a base stand which functions as a sound bar. The first mode only raises the screen a few inches, enough to show information tiles like the time, weather, news, or music track information if you're using Airplay 2 or Alexa to stream songs.

During its CES 2019 press meet, LG revealed the Signature OLED TV R, its first rollable OLED TV that will be available for purchase later this year.

Nowadays, more and more TV manufacturers are adopting chip technology to improve image quality.

This brand-new form factor is even more useful than a conventional TV, since LG also designed three "display modes" that take advantage of its rollable display.

Prediction: Elizabeth Warren bid for WH 'going nowhere'
Warren told reporters in response to the meme that the president should instead spend "his time getting the government back open". The left wing of the party still polls for Sanders, who won New Hampshire over Hillary Clinton in 2016 by 22 points.

"In Line View, users can choose from features such as Clock, Frame, Mood, Music and Home Dashboard", said the company.

At last year's CES, Samsung exhibited a 146-inch "The Wall" Micro LED TV. Samsung says sales of TVs with screens above 75 inches have more than doubled in the United States over the past year.

With Apple HomeKit support, customers will be able to control their LG TV using the Home app or by asking Siri.

Additionally, the Signature's "Zero View" configuration retracts the entire television's display, transforming the Signature OLED TV R into what amounts to a fairly powerful speaker system thanks to a 4.2-channel, 100W, front-firing, Dolby Atmos soundbar built into the device's aluminum and wood body.
