Sarri, though, has digged his heels in over Hudson-Odoi, and he is not impressed with Bayern Munich's continued pursuit of him.

Bayern have made several bids for the 18-year-old England youth global since the transfer window opened, with their latest bid reported to be £35 million.

Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic said on Wednesday that the 18-year-old has the qualities his side want amid reports of repeated bids for the winger.

Youngster Hudson-Odoi, who is heavily linked with a £45m switch to Bayern Munich, could maintain his place as Sarri is doing everything possible to ensure the England global stays at Stamford Bridge beyond this season. "I think that is normal because in a club you have time to organise a team, but in the national team you have no time so it is very hard to see an organised team in the Euros or World Cup".

Higuain knows Sarri well as he played under him during their time at Napoli where the striker arguably played his best football having scored 91 goals in just 146 games during a three-year spell at Stadio San Paolo.

Willian was on Thursday linked with Barcelona, but Sarri ruled out the prospect of the Brazilian departing this month.

Sarri stopped short of confirming the positions of said players. The club knows my opinion. I don't know what to say, I do not know the situation. Let's see what happens.

Giroud has only started six of Chelsea's 21 Premier League games this season, with Alvaro Morata leading the line for the Blues in 11 matches, but with the Spaniard likely to be out injured and potentially leaving the Bridge in the coming months after a torrid campaign then it's time for Sarri to put his faith in Giroud.

"He is one of the best (young players) in Europe".

Bookmakers believe there is a real chance that both William and Hudson-Odoi could leave.

Hudson-Odoi is the son of former Hearts of Oak Ghanaian midfielder Bismark Odoi which makes him eligible to play for the senior national team, Black Stars, despite representing England at every age group from under-16 to under-19 level.
