Maroon 5 Rocks Super Bowl 2019 Halftime Show With Travis Scott and Big Boi

All told, the 2019 Super Bowl Halftime Show was as much of a clusterfuck as one might expect: an overblown production with no real direction or actual sense of objective.

Maroon 5, then, were a suitable choice for a league that has taken great pains to safeguard its status as the national pastime and maintain as broad an appeal as possible.

Pink, Rihanna and Cardi B all declined to perform, with the latter two doing so due to their support of footballer Colin Kaepernick.

While the network's leniency towards Levine's shirtless move is being used to examine sexism in the media, Twitter users also slammed the musician for his fashion choices onstage.

It was Maroon 5's first Super Bowl halftime show appearance, and they were joined on stage by rappers Travis Scott and Big Boi. Though nobody played "Sweet Victory" as hoped, SpongeBob character Squidward Tentacles introduced Travis Scott through a clip from the show.

The addition of rapper Travis Scott (after a Sponge Bob Square Pants cartoon segment) performing his hit "Sicko Mode" - while dancing amid the fire - didn't elevate the performance, though he was at least energetic - and even finished by falling backward into the audience.

Maurizio Sarri insists he will not change his tactical beliefs at Chelsea
He said: "I think that he is changing". "I don't want to change some things that, at the moment, don't work very well". So it's very hard . "It is very hard to go to another country and adapt or play very well immediately".

But the crowd seemed to get riled up the most for Big Boi, who rolled into the show in a classic auto.

Many American Football fans gathered in Atlanta on Sunday for the Super Bowl.

But hey, at least people did recognise that Adam Levine had a cool jacket.

Each transition during the halftime show didn't feel smooth, and Big Boi appearing on top of a vehicle in a thick mink coat added to the bizarreness of the night.

After much speculation, the Super Bowl did, in fact, honorSpongeBob Squarepants in the half-time show Super Bowl 53. While some actually meant to watch the New England Patriots beat the Los Angeles Rams, many admittedly only tuned in for the halftime show.

The game is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. EST. Vocal criticism of their choice has come from other celebrities like comedian Amy Schumer, who didn't shy away from calling out the band, writing "I think it would be cool if @maroon5 backed out of super bowl like @badgalriri Did".
