Jennifer Lopez has no time for complaints that she, and not an African-American artist, was the lead of the Grammys' tribute to Motown on Sunday night.

Speaking to Variety outside Clive Davis' pre-Grammy gala on Saturday, Robinson didn't take too kindly to social media complaints that Lopez was not a good choice for the performance. "Oh", she laughed. "I'm going to say I love his arms". The 49-year-old singer stopped by the The Ellen Degeneres Show and revealed juicy details of her and Alex's relationship, including their favorite body parts and what they wear to bed.

Jennifer Lopez won't turn 50 until July 24, so her 50th birthday tour will build up through the summer.

The 78-year-old icon bluntly said, "I don't think anyone who is intelligent is upset".

The highlight of the tribute was Robinson joining Lopez onstage to perform the Temptations' "My Girl", despite an incredibly awkward ad lib of "My Jen".

The singer, who now has a residency in Las Vegas, shared how Grammy producers and Motown Records founder Berry Gordy were "thrilled" about her tribute.

And while the multi-talented star was on point with her outfit and stage design for the performance, many viewers were left baffled as to why bosses had chosen Jennifer for the tribute. When Ne-Yo came out to contribute a rendition of Stevie Wonder's "Another Star", the spirit of multiple black artists singing Motown hits nearly felt like a tribute -except with Lopez perched atop the white grand piano Ne-Yo was playing and diva-worthy fireworks exploding for the finale. Kids of all races, worldwide, grew up loving the music of Motown, imitating our acts.

"Your Motown "tribute" should have had BLACK WOMEN in it".

Berry Gordy, who stood during Lopez's performance, founded Motown Records in 1959.

Alex Rodriguez gave Jennifer Lopez the most "romantic" gift for their 2nd anniversary!

'This summer I am celebrating. "I think that's why I'm the performer I am today, because of that music".
