After the Jets traded a 2019 first-round pick, forward Brendan Lemieux and a conditional 2022 fourth-round pick to the Rangers, a photo surfaced on social media of Hayes wearing an original Jets jersey before that franchise moved to Winnipeg.

The Phoenix Coyotes have acquired Michael Chaput in a trade that sends Jordan Weal to the Montreal Canadiens in a swap of centers.

Ottawa has gone 125 minutes and 17 seconds since its last goal. His two-year, $3.6 million contract is up at the end of the year, so he would be a rental for any team acquiring him via trade. Dzingel was a pending unrestricted free-agent this summer but increased his trade stock dramatically by setting a new career-high in assists (22) and points (44) through just 44 games. The 26-year-old Weal had a goal and assist in 19 games with Arizona and has totaled four goals and seven assists in 47 games this season.

Alright, I'll say it, Anthony Duclair was not a good fit for this team.

Much like Columbus would owe Ottawa another first-round pick if it re-signs Duchene, Dallas' conditional third-rounder in 2020 becomes a first if Zuccarello re-ups with Dallas. Columbus also receives minor leaguer Julius Bergman.

It took Messi 797 games to reach 50 hat-tricks while Cristiano Ronaldo reached his 50th in March previous year . The treble took Messi's league-leading tally to 25 goals in as many rounds.

No more than 36 hours after landing Matt Duchene in a deal with the Senators, Columbus GM Jarmo Kekalainen has acquired Duchene's former linemate Ryan Dzingel as well, as first reported by TSN's Bob McKenzie. The Blue Jackets may lose both Atermi Panarin and Sergei Bobrovsky to free agency in July and are going all in.

The 28-year-old Duchene had been one of the top players available ahead of Monday's National Hockey League trade deadline.

Mark Stone is also reportedly available as he has not come to an agreement on an extension with the club.
