Dembele Has An ‘Interesting’ Reaction To Leicester Appointing Rodgers

Leicester City has named Brendan Rodgers as its new manager, the club announced on Tuesday, just two days after firing Claude Puel.

Celtic fans were disappointed by Brendan Rodgers' decision to leave the club and join Leicester City yesterday.

Newcastle are headed in the other direction as once again they were inspired by the performance of record signing Miguel Almiron to end Burnley's eight-game unbeaten Premier League run.

The Bhoys were in Scottish Premiership action at Hearts as they looked to extend their lead at the summit of the domestic table and their fans at Tynecastle Park unfurled a banner to let Rodgers know exactly what they thought of him.

"It's ruined my holiday!" The atmosphere is the best in the world, I got lost in the goal.

The former Liverpool boss is keen to rebuild his image in the Premier League after achieving unprecedented domestic success with the Scottish champions north of the border during his two-and-a-half-season stay. I have been a Celtic supporter all my life and the reason I came to Glasgow was to work for the club I had such love and affection for. Attacking football is the DNA of the club.

He denied the incursion had caused any damage, saying there was no debris, "not even a single brick" and no casualties. Actor-turned-politician and Makkal Needhi Maiam chief Kamal Haasan says: "India is proud of its heroes".

"Neil has already enjoyed a hugely successful spell as manager of Celtic and, of course, served the club with distinction as player and captain over so many years", said Celtic in a statement.

The verve and swagger returned with a fine opening goal from Demarai Gray to set Leicester on the way towards a first victory since Boxing Day at the King Power Stadium, in front of their new manager.

Neil Lennon has been brought in on an interim basis as his replacement and will be assisted by John Kennedy and Damien Duff.

However, we've been given a lifeline in our season and it's up to us to seize the opportunity for ourselves.

'I don't want to be compared to Brendan.

"If it happens, wherever he goes, I obviously wish him luck because he's a good guy".
