R. Kelly is heading back behind bars after failing to pay more than $160,000 in back child support, an ongoing legal issue unrelated to his highly publicized sexual abuse charges.

Kelly no doubt hoped the raw interview aired Wednesday on "CBS This Morning" would help sway public opinion about the charges filed last month that accuse him of sexually abusing three girls and a woman. I am going to take her to the concert, ' Kelly went on to say.

R Kelly has been a target of a boycott campaign, and his recording contract has been cancelled.

Kelly's publicist Darryll Johnson told the Associated Press the R&B star had been prepared to pay $50,000 to $60,000 at Wednesday's hearing, but the judge requested the full amount.

Both of the ladies' families said that they have been unable to contact them for years, leading them to believe that Kelly has brainwashed them into following his orders. Deputies escorted Kelly out of the courtroom after his arrest.

Sheriff's office spokeswoman Sophia Ansari says Kelly was taken into custody Wednesday during a hearing over the child support and that his next hearing is scheduled for next Wednesday.

Later Wednesday, Joycelyn Savage said during a phone call with her parents that she has told them a "million, million times" that she's "OK" where she is and that they "need to stop". "He can't book shows he can't do anything", Johnson said.

He spent a weekend in jail on the sex charges before being released on $100,000 bail on February 25. His defense attorney, Steve Greenberg, followed soon after.

However, the newspaper reports bosses decided last week the King of Pop's back catalogue will no longer make it onto the air. Piers then chimed in with his own story about Jackson, in which he announced: "I interviewed him once over the telephone".

The new underage sex allegation out of Detroit came just hours after the R&B singer cried and ranted about being "assassinated" by the sex abuse allegations during an interview with CBS This Morning's Gayle King.

Kelly rose from his seat, yelling and cursing at the cameras.

CBS says it interviewed Kelly for 80 minutes. Kelly says "all of them are lying".

As part of the current case, prosecutors have described a witness who had access to videotapes showing Kelly having sex with a 14-year-old girl.

A 2017 BuzzFeed report later alleged he had kept women as virtual sex slaves at homes he owns in Chicago and Atlanta. The charges were brought after seven women including his ex-wife, appeared on a Lifetime television documentary and accused him of emotional and sexual abuse.

"I am crying because you guys don't know the truth and you guys believe in some f*****g facade that our parents are saying for money and if you can't see that then you're ignorant and you're stupid!"
