Christopher Nkunku lifted his shot over the advancing goalkeeper and the ball was set to trickle into the net, only for Choupo-Moting to follow it in and stop the ball on the goal line in an attempt to get the final touch and his second goal of the game.

Lille are more concerned with holding off the teams below them as they look to secure second place, which provides automatic qualification for next season's Champions League group stage.

As you can see from the clip below, PSG star Kylian Mbappe was left in disbelief of the play.

But they didn't need the 27-goal striker to open the scoring, with summer signing Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting opening the scoring just after the 10-minute mark after a inch-perfect cross from Colin Dagba.

"I thought that the defender was maybe going to take the ball and, after, I hesitated to take the ball, I asked myself if I was offside and everything went very quickly", Choupo-Moting said.

Choupo-Moting, who had scored the opener, gently nudged the ball onto the post before it was cleared in what finished a 2-2 draw.

However, having drawn at home to PSG back in December, mid-table Strasbourg then held on for a point.

Strasbourg coach Thierry Laurey opted for a very defensive side that struggled to string passes together and rarely took the ball out of its own half during the first 20 minutes.

Choupo-Moting, 30, had earlier put his side ahead before Nuno da Costa equalized for Strasbourg and Anthony Goncalves handed the visitors a shock lead.

Thomas Tuchel's side will now have to wait until next Sunday's game away at Lille to seal their sixth title in seven years.

PSG and Strasbourg would draw, 2-2.

The former Stoke City forward moved to the French capital at the beginning of the season and has made the majority of his 18 league appearances from the bench - scoring three goals in the process.
